I was born on December 8th, 1983 in Russia. I
began to read when I was 2,5 years old. At the
age of 3 years and 9 months I played for the
first time in a chess tournament among boys
under thirteen years old and became a rated
chess-player.
When I was 7 years old me and my
parents emigrated to Israel. There my
parents opened their own private chess
school. During the next nine years they
trained many young players, over 40 of which
became winners and prize-winners in junior
tournaments in Israel.
I was Israeli champion among the girls 5 times,
including once in the category under 20 years.
I have 8 medals from World and European
championships, including the gold medal in
the 2002 European Rapid Championship for
girls under 20 in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia and,
most significantly, the bronze medal in the
European Women's Championship 2005!
I have played in men's and women's leagues in
the following countries:
Israel,
Croatia, Hungary,
Germany, UK, Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey.
Some of my recent
successes:
-
I was a member of the Hungarian women's
Olympic team in Bled, Slovenia 2002 (second
board). My team finished 5th!
-
1st place in Hungarian women's championship
2003 with 7,5 points out of 9 games (there
were 6 WGMs playing)!!
-
I shared 1st place in the 2003 Acropolis WGM
Tournament in Athens, Greece with a result of
6,5 out of 9!

My team won the silver medals in the 2003
European Women's Team Championship in Plovdiv,
Bulgaria where I played on the first board.
My result was 6 out of 9!

title on the last FIDE Congress in October
2003.

I work much as a chess coach. My
parents and I
created a chess academy and have had more than 100 students from
30+ countries (Germany, France, Italy, Russia,
Hungary, UK, USA, Canada, Israel, China, India,
Malaysia, Brunei, Syria, Kuwait, Ireland etc). The level
of our students ranges from unrated till 2500.
In my coaching work I make use of my huge
collection of more than 11,000 instructive
game fragments and examples, classified
under more than 300 themes! You can see a
very small sample of the material in my
collection by reading my books (there are
now two of them already)! If you would
like to purchase parts of my collection you
may
email me.
I am also a chess journalist. I write articles
and annotate games in Austrian, German, Czech,
Hungarian, Greek and Russian chess magazines.
I have more than 120 games published in the
famous Yugoslav publication "Chess
Informant" with my analysis and novelties. One
can also find several of my games in the
Encyclopaedia of Chess Openings.
I am a staff member of the
Andrew Martin Chess Academy,
a website offering chess
instruction and other related services!
I have created a discussion forum! The main topic is
my book, but you can post about other chess-related
topics too! Visit my forum
here!
Also, I
have appeared on a post stamp in Austria! Check out
"Der Schachtherapeut"
for more information! You can see the stamp
here!
A detailed interview of mine to well-known Russian
chess journalist Misha Shavinov has been
published by the very popular ChessCafe website! You
can read the interview

In the end of 2003 I moved to Athens, Greece
where on May 12th, 2004 I got married to
Sotiris Logothetis!
So let me
introduce you my husband Sotiris Logothetis from Greece:
he is 32 years
old, a sagitarius (like me), likes sports,
computer-expert, also chess player (FIDE Master!) and
an international chess arbiter.
My dear parents
have also moved to Athens! Here are a few
things about them:
My mom is a USSR Master of Sports in chess,
linguist, chess journalist and trainer! In the
past she won gold and silver medals in USSR
Championships and was Russian Champion under 20
years old in 1967! She also played for Israel in
the 1992 Chess Olympiad in Manila, Philippines.
My dad is a pianist but also a chess trainer,
journalist and psychologist. He has been my
trainer ever since I was 3 years old and he has a
lot of experience in this subject as he was also
the trainer of my mom!
